Measuring principle

Mass Flow Meter rely on the following physics principle: a mass element moving towards or from the center of a rotating system will be affected by a force, the so called Coriolis force. This force will act on the fluid flowing through a vibrating pipe sensor and induce a phase shift detected by two inductive coils fixed on the vibrating pipe. The mass flow can be derivated from this phaseshift signal electronically and with high accuracy.
